Introduction to Silent Brain Training™ (SBT) by Kelly Granite Enck
Silent Brain Training™ (SBT) is a revolutionary method developed by Kelly Granite Enck, a highly-rated clinical hypnotist (NGH) and creator of the SBT approach. Designed to train the brain to live fully in the present moment, SBT helps individuals silence the endless mental chatter—often called the “monkey brain”—that can distract and overwhelm. By achieving a higher state of consciousness, known as silent consciousness, clients experience freedom from identifying with their thoughts. This transformative process empowers individuals to gain mental clarity, emotional balance, and an enhanced sense of inner peace.
Understanding “Monkey Brain” or Mental Chatter
“Monkey brain” refers to the constant, often chaotic stream of thoughts running through our minds, ranging from day-to-day worries to deep-seated anxieties. This persistent mental activity can be exhausting, diminishing focus and undermining our sense of calm. Left unchecked, it can prevent people from fully experiencing the present moment and negatively impact their emotional well-being.
The Purpose of Silent Brain Training™ (SBT)
SBT’s primary aim is to guide individuals to attain the state of silent consciousness, where the mind becomes quiet, and thoughts no longer hold control. In this profound state, clients are able to detach from their thought patterns and discover a deeper sense of peace and mental clarity. The result is a significant improvement in focus, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. By using a combination of hypnosis, meditation, and neurofeedback techniques, SBT facilitates this life-changing shift, empowering clients to experience the present moment with ease and tranquility.
Experience the freedom of a quiet mind and unlock your highest potential with Silent Brain Training™.
ABOUT
How Hypnosis Works.
What’s the Difference Between Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, and Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT)™?
By Kelly Granite Enck, Certified Clinical Hypnotist (NGH) and Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) Practitioner.
HYPNOSIS
Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation and focused concentration, much like when you’re completely absorbed in a movie, book, or project and lose all sense of time. In this state, the brain shifts into theta waves (4-7.5 Hz), which can be observed on an electroencephalogram (EEG). This brainwave pattern is linked to deep meditation, heightened creativity, and peak spiritual experiences. It is also present during REM sleep, a critical phase where repressed emotions and creative insights are processed.
During hypnosis, the conscious mind—or ego—steps aside, allowing the subconscious to take the lead. Since the subconscious never forgets, it holds incredible potential for healing and creativity. In this state, the brain also releases β-endorphins, producing feelings of euphoria and well-being. Interestingly, individuals who are intelligent and strong-minded tend to be more responsive to hypnosis because they excel at following guided instructions. Importantly, hypnosis cannot compel anyone to act against their moral values or personal ethics.
HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnotherapy builds on the principles of hypnosis by applying it in a therapeutic context. This form of psychotherapy uses relaxation and heightened focus to guide clients into a state where deep insights and emotional breakthroughs are possible.
Many people suffering from anxiety live in a constant state of trance, bound by limiting beliefs that shape their reality. Hypnotherapy helps break these cycles by identifying and shifting the core beliefs driving their anxiety. Once these limiting beliefs are resolved, the anxiety naturally dissipates.
As the philosopher Heraclitus once said, “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river, and he’s not the same man.” Hypnotherapy facilitates this transformative change by allowing clients to step into new ways of being.
RAPID RESOLUTION THERAPY (RRT)
Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) is a specialized form of hypnotherapy that integrates multi-level communication, guided imagery, storytelling, and intentional language to resolve emotional disturbances and unhelpful behaviors. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which often focuses on cognitive processing, RRT targets the emotional brain and the limbic system—the part of the brain that governs our emotional and behavioral responses.
RRT enables clients to experience rapid and lasting changes as it creates new neural pathways without the need to rehash painful memories or confront their fears directly. Instead, the therapy addresses the core emotional roots of their struggles, allowing the subconscious mind to release triggers and bring lasting resolution.
With years of experience guiding clients through life’s challenges, I have honed my ability to quickly identify the specific sources of their distress. My clients frequently describe experiencing powerful “Ah-ha” moments, where their triggers dissolve, and they regain a sense of control over their lives. Many of them have dubbed me “The Brain Whisperer.”
Once the initial issue has been resolved, many clients choose to return for advanced brain training sessions, known as “Follow-Up Sessions.” These sessions are custom-designed to build on previous work, helping clients maintain their progress and achieve their personal goals.
